Unlike many other corporate graduate programmes, ours is very much a fast track induction to become an active team member, contributing directly to our on track presence. Rather than many typical industries, we do not operate cross department work experience placements or graduate based workshops. Our opportunities typically involve a steep learning curve working directly on engineering current and future F1 cars as an integral member of the team, offering the ultimate exposure to the challenges and rewards through being involved in F1 at Renault Sport Racing.
The programme is fully supported by HR and also through a dedicated Graduate Programme Manager, providing mentoring and support for our graduates, and liaison across the departments at a technical level to recruit the best available graduates for each position. The current graduates are very welcoming and undertake a number of social activities together, and we also have an online Graduate Alumni group established through LinkedIn to keep in touch over the longer term.
Our graduate programme offers rewarding salaried positions on fixed term/contract extension basis, with impressive career development and learning opportunities from the outset, combined with competitive structured salary progression as each role develops. While we cannot offer any long term promises to the total duration of each position on our graduate programme, many of our graduates have been with us a number of years now, many attaining permanent positions as their roles have developed to become an integral part of the department in which they work.
Graduate Programme positions and opportunities are largely structured around the academic calendar, with our appreciation of First Degree Graduates typically being available for work in the early summer, and Postgraduate courses completing later for autumn commencement. With this in mind, our main selection process is under consideration between May through to September, but other positions may become available throughout the year to suit specific project requirements and also through staff turnover. Please note that due to the flexible nature of our Graduate Programme, we do not recruit into all business areas each year. Graduate Positions will be advertised on our website as and when available.
