Based on the Sandero R.S. 2-liter 150hp hot hatch, the first Renault Sport model manufactured and marketed in Brazil, the Sandero R.S. Grand Prix Concept show car was developed by the RDAL (Renault Design Latin America), located in São Paulo, in order to pay homage to the brand’s victories in Formula 1 championships. The styling exercise blends colors and materials, and it would influence the design of future limited series.
The bold and aggressive design features black bodywork with details in gold, such as on brake calipers and wheel trims, front wings, rear spoiler and side stripes. The interior is trimmed in black and gold, with an upholstery made of quilted leather highlighted by gold stiches.
