Renault Sport Technologies has revealed the list of pre-selected teams for the next season of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0. The definitive list of teams entered will be officialised on 12 March.

With 45 years of detecting and forming the best motor racing hopefuls, the 2016 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season is already underway.

With technical and sporting stability, the up-coming season will offer the young talents the opportunity to race in the curtain raiser of the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco and battle for attractive prize money that will be awarded to the top drivers of the school of champions put in place by Renault Sport Technologies.

The Organising Committee has chosen to retain seven teams for the 2016 season. They will be able to enter up to four Formula Renault 2.0s.

All these teams competed this season and among them is the 2015 team champion Josef Kaufmann Racing, which has announced they will enter Lando Norris, champion in the MSA Formula, and Sahara Force India Academy protégé Jehan Daruvala in 2016.

Opposite them, many drivers are in discussions with the entered squads. Tech 1 Racing has confirmed Hugo de Sadeleer, Gabriel Aubry and French F4 Junior champion, Sacha Fenestraz. Fortec Motorsports has signed Bruno Baptista, Ferdinand Habsburg and Vasily Romanov, while Henrique Chaves (AVF), Hugo Sugnot-Darniche (Avenir by ARTA Engineering) and James Allen (JD Motorsport), will also compete in the 2016 season.
