Enthusiastic supporters of Renault Sport Technologies’ project, the World Series by Renault’s many partners are eagerly looking forward to the start of the new campaign. With a month to go before the opening weekend, here is what they have to say about what will be WSR’s 11th season.

Christian Luc Cibot, Total Motorsports Division, Head of Marketing and Affiliates coordination Dpt

“2015 will once again be a unique opportunity to experience the outstanding event that is the World Series by Renault, with all the teams and the Renault Sport Technologies team welcoming the latest talents in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0. It will also be a chance to share in the excitement of the drivers and the twists and turns of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, and to see the eagerly awaited Renault Sport R.S. 01 for the first time.”

Philippe Mussati, head of Michelin’s Motorsport/Customers Dept

“We are delighted to be working with our partner in new projects over this new season. These projects are both technical and commercial in nature, with the outstanding Renault Sport R.S. 01 and the Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 3.5 single seaters. Our partnership with Renault Sport Technologies makes a big contribution to the development of our range of motorsport tyres, as the championship covers both the prototype and single-seater categories. Both depend on the supply of types that are capable of responding to very different dynamic constraints, a diversity that represents a very rewarding challenge for us. We’re also anxious to offer teams and drivers the best solutions in terms of performance, driving pleasure, mileage, safety and user costs. The World Series by Renault has a loyal following of passionate motorsport fans, who we’re also delighted to engage with at the circuits and through the media, thanks to international coverage that gives the Michelin brand superb visibility.”

Bernard Richards, president of BRM

“A new season is starting for BRM in the World Series by Renault. For the last few years now BRM has joined Renault in supporting promising young drivers on the road to F1. What could be more rewarding for these youngsters than to wear the colours of the drivers’ watchmaker of choice ? There should be some great duels in store as they fight it out for the right to display the famous BRM trophies on their mantelpieces. Have a good season everyone.”

Maria José Garcia-Pelayo, mayor of Jerez and president of Cirjesa

“We are proud to be a member of the big World Series by Renault family for yet another year. The World Series by Renault is a magnificent international motorsport event designed by and for the public, who are very much the focal point of it. The bar was set very high last year, with 60,000 people flocking to our circuit. We are ready to try and beat that number though, and we invite you to come and see the World Series by Renault at the Circuit de Jerez on 17-18 October and to experience an unforgettable weekend of racing and leisure activities and, why not, to enjoy the many tourist attractions that the city of Jerez has to offer all its visitors.”

Tomé Alfonso, MotorLand Aragón Managing Director

“We’ll be hosting our seventh consecutive World Series by Renault event at the Motorland Aragon circuit in Alcañiz since its opening in 2009. That shows just how strong the partnership is between the circuit and the World Series by Renault. Thousands of fans enjoy WSR every year, and the key to its success is the family atmosphere of the event. We’re bringing fans closer to motorsport.”
