Electro-Mechanical Technician
Job Purpose/Objectives
To proactively maintain the site wide electrical and mechanical infrastructure and create a stable environment from which RSR can operate from
Safely and efficiently undertake duties within the facilities department as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or their appointed deputy.
Deliver plant and services maintenance to optimise site operations
Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, reduce or mitigate the risks to the business due to loss of service
Capacity to work on one’s own initiative for the benefit of the department/team
Understand when to escalate concerns regarding issues that may impact on the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the site systems
Responsibility to continue personal development, and to develop site specific knowledge to enable timely and effective intervention should an operational problem arise
Subsidiary duties:
On-call out of hours’ engineering cover and Saturday AM engineering checks (rota based on one week in four). Ability to respond to emergency call-out within 60 minutes when on-call
Aptitude and Disposition
Diligent and adaptable to duties.
Thorough and self-motivated to achieve high standards in the delivery of electro-mechanical and facilities based services

Renault Sport Racing have an excellent opportunity to join our maintenance team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician.
Electro-Mechanical Technician – The Role
As part of this position, you will be responsible for proactively maintaining the site wide electrical and mechanical infrastructure and create a stable environment from which RSR can operate from. You will be responsible to safely and efficiently deliver services maintenance whilst proactively identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
Electro-Mechanical Technician – The Person
The successful candidate will ideally have an electrical engineering qualification covering installation and maintenance of LV systems (Electro-technical installation & maintenance – Level 3) C&G 236 Pt I & Pt II, or equivalent NVQ). We are looking for an individual who has an understanding of mechanical systems and commercial/industrial installations within a manufacturing environment.
