How did your 2015 season go ?
“It all went perfectly. With six wins out of six in the Trophy, things just got better and better and I didn’t have the slightest problem in terms of reliability. The team was delighted with the result and our objective now is the Monte-Carlo.”
Your Clio R3T European Trophy Iberia win earned you a place in the final at the Rallye Monte-Carlo. What will be your objectives there ?
“Like everyone else, I’ll be going there to win, even though it’s my first world championship rally. I’ll need to be focused. The Monte-Carlo is a tough event. As we’ve already got the maximum number of points, race management will be important. In Spain we don’t have the chance to do any testing on snow. We’ll just have to do our best and try to learn as much as we can during the rally.”
What does the Rallye Monte-Carlo mean to you ?
“The only poster I had in my room was a photo from the 1991 Rallye Monte-Carlo. I went to watch it a few times when I was a child because it is the rally. It’s a dream come true for me and being involved in the fight to win the Clio R3T European Trophy only makes me even more motivated.”
