Renault Sport Formula One Team will cut a fine figure en route to Grands Prix thanks to a new relationship with fashion brand, DANIEL HECHTER.

The new three-year deal, which started from the Bahrain Grand Prix, sees the DANIEL HECHTER brand appear on the team’s R.S.17 cars with team members set to wear the brand’s outfits as they travel the globe.

In addition, a DH X RS collection will be developed and sold in countries hosting a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Cyril Abiteboul, Managing Director, Renault Sport Racing:
“So much of Formula 1 is related to image and brand perception so this new relationship with DANIEL HECHTER means we can truly show our unique savoir vivre. We both embrace the international nature of F1 as a sport and this shared passion and French heritage means our brands have a natural synergy. We are looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership, bringing a further French touch to Formula 1.”

Loïc Lemarchand, Directeur Général Adjoint de DANIEL HECHTER:
“With its Parisian roots, the DANIEL HECHTER brand embodies the French style of life. The HECHTER silhouette is elegant, chic, urban and relaxed. Our brand radiates this art of living across five continents, so has a natural synergy with Formula 1 and Renault Sport Formula One Team. Together we reflect the team spirit and dynamism of sport and we are truly excited about this new long term relationship.”

Since 1962 DANIEL HECHTER has been the independent, conquering, exciting French player on the international ready-to-wear scene, which has made luxury affordable. Diversifying its products (men, women and children, accessories, home goods, perfumes), over the years, DANIEL HECHTER has remained the brand of open, modern people who expect their clothes to reflect a certain lifestyle. In 1998, Miltenberger Otto Aulbach GmbH acquired the company from its founder. By restructuring the collections the current owners have continued to consolidate its success throughout the world. Today DANIEL HECHTER has spread its savoir faire to more than 65 countries through 600 own-branded boutiques and 2500 multi-brand stores.
