Renault DP World F1 Team Driver Esteban Ocon and Renault Sport Academy talent Hadrien David will lead the field in the inaugural Renault Vitality GT Sport Show on Tuesday 7 April.
Renault Sport Racing has teamed up with its Esports partner, Team Vitality, to keep the racing passion alive with increased activity in the online, digital world.
The event will be broadcast on Vitality’s Twitch channel (twitch.tv/team/vitality) and Renault Sports’s Youtube Channel (youtube.com/renaultsport) on Tuesday at 19:00 GMT (20:00 CET) with the two races hosted on Gran Turismo Sport where all competitors race from their own homes on simulators.
Renault will showcase its excellent stable of sports cars for the online event, including the Renault R.S.01 GT Car and the Mégane Trophy V6.
And heading the entrants are F1 Driver Esteban and upcoming star Hadrien, who joined the Renault young driver programme in January on the back of his French Formula 4 success last year.
Esteban and Hadrien are no strangers to racing online with the duo regularly battling with each other on Gran Turismo with exhibition races.
Amongst their competitors will be Vitality ambassadors Brawks (Kevin Georges) and Robi (Maxime Dambrine), the team’s Esports Driver, Nicolas Longuet, and Renault Sport cars specialist Laurent Hurgon, who currently holds lap records for the Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps and Suzuka in the Mégane Trophy R.
