Renault Sport Academy Driver Sacha Fenestraz returns to racing this weekend as the FIA European Formula 3 Championship heads to Silverstone for round six, on the World Endurance Championship undercard.

Sacha has his sights on a better run of form in the second-half of the season, as he aims to close the gap to the top five.

His season began with a bang in Pau, storming to victory from pole position on debut in the series to lead the championship after the opening round.

Since then Sacha has regularly scored points, but has lacked the pace to challenge at the front end of the field.

Refreshed after the summer break, he aims to rediscover the form he showed at the beginning of the season, with a bright outing at Silverstone this weekend top of the priority list.

Sacha Fenestraz: “I’m looking forward to this weekend. I’ve been working hard with the team over the break to learn more about single-lap, qualifying pace as that’s our main problem at the moment. Improving qualifying will make things easier in the races, and I’ll keep working hard with the team in that area in the build-up to the weekend. We want to be back in the top five, at least, and I’m missing the feeling of racing near the top! Silverstone is a really fast circuit and the home race for the team [Carlin] and for me as well, as I live near there. I’m hoping for a successful weekend.”
