On Mégane R.S. and Mégane R.S. Trophy, the configuration has been revised to provide an even more efficient driving experience, giving drivers the feeling that the car is glued to the road.
At low speeds (under 60kph or 100kph in Race mode), the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction to the front wheels, up to a maximum angle of 2.7 degrees. On twisty, winding roads, the 20% more direct steering gives Mégane R.S. and Mégane R.S. Trophy a "playful" side that is unprecedented on a front-wheel drive car.
At high speeds, all four wheels turn in the same direction, with a limit of a one-degree angle at the rear. Perfectly aligned, the rear wheels deliver increased stability and a more comfortable driving experience, even when adopting a sporty style.
