The tight winding streets of the Baku circuit always make for dramatic racing, and with the practice sessions being held in the early evening light, it is one of the photographers’ favourites.
This beautiful shot was taken at the famous climb up to the ’Old Town Castle’. The narrow track means that it’s single file through this section, making it quite easy to know where the car will appear in your viewfinder. By exposing for the soft evening light, the curves of the R.S.19 are bathed in a golden glow.
