The Hungarian GP has been run since 1986 and was the first to be held behind the Iron Curtain. It’s traditionally held in the middle of summer when temperatures hit the mid 30s! This is a classic photo and is as old as the race itself; the water tower is based in the nearby town of Mogyorod which can be seen in the background of this shot taken at turn 6.
