Picture Perfect : Singapore Grand Prix

The Singapore Marina Bay Street Circuit is always a photographer’s favourite. There are lots of opportunities for creating a ’different’ image, with the neon-lit city skyline creating a unique backdrop for F1’s night race. The image that we have chosen this week is one of those shots that you just don’t find at any other circuit. The double R.S.19 is actually a reflection in the mirror-like roof of a public bus shelter, which stands adjacent to the circuit. The trick is to stand behind the bus stop, pre-focus on the track, and pan smoothly with the car as it passes, and the bus shelter does the rest!
