With just a few weeks to go to the start of the 2018 Formula 1TM season, racing fans can take part in a personality test with the first motorsport chatbot, a concept dreamt up by Renault Sport and the agency We Are Social.
On the Facebook page of the Renault Sport Formula One Team, the bot – which is quite funny and self-depreciating – plays the role of the recruitment manager, who is looking to add talented new members to the team.
Do you have what it takes to be a driver, a powertrain technician or a pit stop crew member? The bot asks a series of strategic and practical questions to test the reactions of fans and determine the profile that is best suited to them.
How do you prepare for a race? What is your favourite circuit? How do you react if it starts to rain? Based on the answers and following a prize draw, three lucky people will win the chance to see behind the scenes at the team’s Enstone (England) or Viry-Châtillon (France) facilities.
The three new recruits (driver, a powertrain technician or a pit stop crew member) will spend the day with the team, getting the chance to meet team members and enjoy a truly unique experience.
